New Offices

The Council is reducing the amount of space they occupy across Huyton. Many of the current buildings are outdated, sprawling, costly and inefficient. Consolidating the Councils footprint will make land available to deliver the masterplan and provide new homes, employment opportunities and public spaces as well as delivering cost savings in the long term.

A single new office building will replace a number of old Municipal Buildings and provide a new home for Knowsley Council as part of the wider masterplan. It will provide 90,000 soft of space over 5 floors and will be significantly more energy efficient and less costly; The design of the new office celebrates Huyton’s historic character and retains Knowsley Council’s strong identity within the local community.
